You’re not alone

Here’s to the girls who think they aren’t worth it.

Who are afraid to stand on the scale. Who are afraid to look in the mirror for too long. Who think clothes are cute, as long as they don’t wear it. Who think they look fat. Who don’t like sitting on a chair, because they think their thighs look too big. Who wonder if their legs are too short or if they’re weird shaped. Who feel like they’re always being analyzed. Who’s life is a series of ‘I shouldn’t have eaten that’. Who have stretch marks. Who hate wearing crop tops, tanks, shorts or bikinis. Who wear hoodies, because their belly doesn’t show. Who are self conscious. To those, who are never truly happy with their body.

Here’s to the girls, who think they always ruin everything. Who think it’s their fault, that boys would always put other girls first. Who feel like such a loser, during maths lesson. Who don’t like to truly smile in public. Who wonder if they should be here. Who are shy. Who are quiet. Who feel like no one sees them. Who feel like no one cares about them. To those who think they’re not important.

Here’s to the girls who feel like they are not talented enough. Not smart enough. Not pretty enough. Not skinny enough. Not good enough.

You are not alone.

Take your life back from your flaws. Take your life back from what broke you. Take your life back from your flatline. You are so much more than your mistakes and the things you dislike about yourself. You are allowed to feel sexy, you are allowed to feel beautiful.

You are worth it. Everyone deserves to sparkle.
